I recently received an email from a Pastor I studied under for several years that reminded me, once again, how great our God is. We often take so much for granted and yet every breath I breathe is a gift from him. It raises the question: How well am I using this gift of life He has given me? I hope these words will encourage you to persevere on the path God desires for your life.
Every breath you take is a gift from God. The ground you stand on is a gift from God. Have you ever considered if God had not breathed His breath into man, that he would still be a mud ball?
Man would have form but no capacity to breath, stand on the ground, drive a car, communicate with God or anyone else. As people we experience pleasant and unpleasant events; this is called “life”.
Relationships are a gift from God.
We are to praise him and give thanks to him for our very existence and all we experience. Try giving praise for your relationship instead of being critical and taking it for granted. It may be just what is necessary to bring it alive.
Now, our God, we give you thanks, and praise your glorious name. "But who am I, and who are my people that we are able to give generously as this? Everything comes from you, and we have given you only what comes from your hand. (1 Chronicles 29:13-14)
